Class Action Lawsuit Filed Over Facebook Privacy Breach
Zynga, provider of certain Facebook apps including Farmville, has been sued in a Federal Class Action Lawsuit over a recently reported Facebook privacy breach. The lawsuit arises out of Zynga's sharing of Facebook user names with advertising and marketing companies. This privacy breach was recently discovered by the Wallstreet Journal. The lawsuit alleges claims including violations of The Electronic Communications Privacy Act, The Stored Communications Act, California's Unfair Competition Law, Computer Crime Law and The Consumer Legal Remedies Act.
